- Description
- This is an orchestration, for large orchestra, of Debussy’s Prelude (number 3 of book 2).
The orchestration was an assignment to my Masters degree which I passed in 2005. It brings out the eccentric nature of this Prelude with its disjointed nature, despite the continuous obligato figure in the bass. The orchestra is large with triple woodwinds, 2 percussionist and 2 harps.
